PODOLIT QXS

Application:
PODOLIT QXS is a special 2-component system (floor coating) designed on the basis of polyurethane or epoxy resins, additives, mechanically firm fillers, pigments sustaining lights and it is used for protection and decoration of concrete floor surfaces in rooms with very demanding use conditions and high mechanical load, where work is conducted with chemically aggressive substances, oil derivatives, engine lubricants, gasoline, solvents, acids and alkali, detergents, disinfectants.

It can be cleaned and washed under preassure of 150 bar with water temperature up till 80 ºC, and it has 100% water impermeability.

PODOLIT QXS TOP-COD is applied in extreme use conditions creating special glazed layer which is more resistant to the stated characteristics.
Design with colored quartz sand ensures nice appearance of floor system.

Surface preparation:
PODOLIT QXS is smeared over firm, dry, greaseless, dustless concrete surface or glaze. Make sure cement remains are removed from the surface.

PODOLIT QXS is applied in multiple layers depending on anti slippery features. PODOLIT QXS PRAIMER is applied before PODOLIT QXS.

PODOLIT QXS is applied in a layer of approx. 3-4 mm. If the surface is very porous and rough PODOLIT QXS is applied in three layers.
First layer is for smoothing the surface and closing pores, thus blocking air from entering from concrete coating into the unbinded layer. PODOLIT QXS is prepared directly prior to its application.

PODOLIT QXS is delivered in colors according to RAL ton chart or colored quartz send.

Working conditions:
PODOLIT QXS is flammable. Work is to be conducted in airy rooms. Usual protection equipment is to be used during work.
PODOLIT QXS is applied at temperature between +10ºC and +35ºC. Temperature between +15ºC and + 25ºC is recommended.

Consumption:
Quantity of PODOLIT QXS depends on smoothness and porosity of the surface. It ranges between
2,1 – 4,1 kg/m² for thickness of up till 3 mm.

Packaging:
PODOLIT QXS is delivered in metal packaging, and filler in paper or PVC bags.

Storage:
In original packaging in dry and airy space, protected from the sun and direct source of heat. Product is to be kept away from children.

Time of application:
Time interval between the applications of two layers
is approx. 16-24 h, depending on temperature and moisture.

Lifetime:
12 months if properly stored in its original packaging.
